This is good news and I hope Alan keeps providing more infrastructure & services to the rural area...and also, I hope,to public hospitals so Peruvians can receive good healthcare which is provided by the government. Well done Mr Garcia.
By the way, ? what happened to enforcement of the "8 hour" working day, introduced by Mr Garcia in June 2006 ?.....its seems to me, from what I hear from my sister-in-law in Lima, that people are still being forced to work 10 - 12 hours per day, 6 days per week, or lose their jobs.Just a casual question !!
Ciao for now,

This is a beautiful picture. A happy andean family finally smiling after so many years of indifference.

Yes,indeed EC ! Mmmmmm....more the attention (as opposed to indifference) than the electricity maybe. Hopefully the electricity will provide warmth during this cold winter and prevent the many deaths from the cold that sadly occured in 2007 winter.

Nice to see, but hopefully they are finding somewhat clean ways to generate this extra energy that is being used now.

Ahhh the days of the in field hand crank for power and communications in some of the more, rural areas of the planet. This was like introducing fire to the stone age. These people are finaly blessed. Good for them.Add your comment
