Peru's Gian Marco to release new album "Desde Adentro" this week

Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco Zignago Alcóver, known more commonly as just "Gian Marco", is to release a new CD by the end of the week.
On Friday, the 2005 Latin Grammy award winner is to release his new CD, which is a compilation of all the songs he composed for artists such as Emmanuelle, Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony among others.
To promote the new release, Gian Marco has established a website, where the Peruvian singer's fans can go and see exclusive videos, pictures and listen to songs from the new Desde Adentro album.
www.gianmarco.com.pe was launched as a site that allows fans to find out more about the Peruvian star.
Fans all over the world will be able to read the singer's biography as well as have a chance to take a look at news about the 37-year-old songwriter from Surco.
Furthermore, the website contains pictures of the recording process for Gian Marco's new album, which is to officially be presented to the press on Wednesday.
Aside from the new album, Gian Marco will also release a DVD containing video clips and a documentary of the recording of Desde Adentro.

I've never heard this guy sing a word, but I find it very hard to stomach him based on the saturation of his dorky Claro commercials and billboards. Does he suck as much as I suspect?
"...a compilation of all the songs he composed for artists..." to me, this means he couldn't come up with anything new, so it's a re-hash of material from his former days of glory.

The guys only 37 years old and he's already a has been, falling back on the old commercial product endorsment trick. He sucks as a singer and is only famous because of his parents.

Sting can't sing, Stevie Wonder forces his lyrics, and James Taylor redoes a lot. They're all great. That's the music industry. Desde Adentro is a beautiful album by a talented singer/sonwriter who has earned recognition in his own right. Listen and enjoy.Add your comment
