Peru: Rats found crawling outside McDonald's in upscale Lima district

After a Lima journalist had finished eating his BigMac and was exiting a McDonald's in the upscale district of San Borja, he noticed that rats were crawling around the outside of the restaurant.

Alonso Molina, a photographer and journalist for a well-known magazine in Lima was shocked to see the rodents crawling around the outside of the restaurant as he was getting into his car.

The photographer had his camera with him and began shooting away as the rats came and went.

In all, the photographer took 90 pictures of the rodents outside the McDonald's on Guardia Civil Avenue.

Molina exclaimed that it was urgent for the owners of this restaurant, who have been identified as "Operaciones Arcos Dorados de Perú S.A.", take immediate action and rid themselves of the infestation.

In an exclusive interview with Terra News, Molina told reporters that the rats were circling around a sign that read "Non authorized personnel not admitted".

In response to the news report, McDonald's has assured that the pictures were taken in a remote part of their parking lot which is adjacent to a waste area.

How in the hell did McDonalds ever let them escape from the cages.  I was told McDonalds in Lima Peru is supposed to keep the Rats alive until a big Mac is ordered. They are supposed to be the Best Tasting Big Macs in the world if served fresh.  I hope this problem is fixed soon!  I do not want my Big Mac rodents running the streets of Lima anymore.

The real joke is this guys naivity. Look out back of any restaurant in any country in the world and you will see a lot more rats than are probably in all of San Borja.

My Friends, I have just finished talking with a friend of mine Mr. Sum Sing Wong of China Towns animal control. He was appalled that this happened around McDonalds. He assures me that no type of rat, mouse, pigeon would be found in his area of control.He also says their not bad with a sweet and sour sauce and they taste like chicken. Chau Friends.

What is the surprise? Lima is full of rats. And also there are some rodents.

Here in DC huge rats are part of the everyday landscape in Summer, they are in every street late at night...

Well its rather sad to see these People in a Peruvian group who hate Peru and enjoy every opportunity in putting the country down.
Every country in the world has corruption police brutality riots corrupt goverments drug problems etc etc including USA.
If you hate Peru so much why did you join the site?
Instead of putting the Country down how about talking about the good points of Peru and maybe even some helpful hints as to how Peru as a country can grow & prosper?
Arrogant put downs just shows your true ignorance.
