50,000 people and over $1 million at Peru's tourism & gastronomy fair

The second annual Tourism, Gastronomy and Entertainment Fair held from October 31 - November 2 was a great success and generated over $1 million in sales, reported the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the institution responsible for organizing the event.
It was reported that over 50,000 people took part in the fair, 50 percent of which went to eat Peruvian dishes. 30 percent of participants assisted tourism events while 20 percent were seeking entertainment.
The objective of the fair was to promote Peru's tourism, gastronomy and entertainment through the 200 companies present, all of which were selling their products and services.
Aside from the products that were offered, citizens benefited from international and national conference speakers, seminars and specialized workshops in tourism, gastronomy and entertainment.
The first day of the fair focused on entertainment and honored Peruvian music. The second day. tourism in northern Peru was promoted while on the last day Peruvian dishes were the stars.

It is nice to know that Peru hides so many curiousities and magnificent views. There should be defenetly more commercials on this country so that tourists could come in much number, also visa should'nt be problem or any kind of strict security. For example I want to know what kind of food they eat,what do they do for a living , which are the customs and traditions for main celebrations? All these can bring a lot of tourists and develope the tourist side of the country.Add your comment
