Airport Lima Partners (LAP), concessionaire of Lima's international airport Jorge Chávez, informed today that at least five international airlines are evaluating their entrance into the Peruvian market, due to the strong existing demand.

“We can say that the principal attractive is the good economic position of the country,” said LAP's General Manager, Jaime Daly.

“These airlines are looking to extend the connectivity from Lima towards other parts of the world,” he emphasized.

He pointed out that Peru requires to develop and to improve its aerial connectivity with Asia, as well as with some European destinations that deserve to have a direct service.
