Catacaos, a beautiful small town located on Peru’s northern coast in the Piura region, will celebrate its 3rd Tourist Week.
The Municipality of Catacaos has scheduled several cultural, gastronomic and social activities to ensure that foreign and domestic visitors enjoy this event, to be held from June 20th to 28th.
Catacaos is located on Peru's north coast (Piura region), only 12 km away from the regional capital and 1h 15' by commercial flight from Lima.
The town, with over 54,000 inhabitants, has a predominantly farming and crafts economy, since it is surrounded by one of the most fertile valleys in the region, whose cotton textiles are prized in the country and abroad.
