Peru's roads going back to normal

The traffic circulation on the roads of Peru's north amazonian provinces' roads has just been resumed and returned to normal, since the natives lifted the blockades after the repeal of the decrees 1090 and 1064.

The blockades and stoppage had lasted for more than two months, generating enormous economic losses to local business and agriculture.

The commissioner of Yurimaguas, capital of Alto Amazonas (Loreto), reported that the natives cleared the road that connects this city with Tarapoto (San Martin). According to San Ramón (Junín region) police station, the traffic by the Tarma-La Merced section of the Central Highway was restored last night.

No such thing as a 'normal' road in Peru.  Maybe back to the way they were before the roadblocks, but not normal.  Nothing normal about this backwater of a country.

The road between Yurimaguas and Tarapoto is excellent these days. Back before they started paving it, it was treacherous.

Also, if you're living in Peru and calling it a "backwater of a country," perhaps you should head back to your own country.

Josh ( y todos), probably best to ignore D.N's comments here, and LIP generally, as he seems to enjoy making provocative comments to see if he can start "fires".
I am not a Peruano, but my wife is.....we are both very sad for all this problem in the north...for ALL that died (natives AND innocent policia)...their families and relatives are many to suffer the consequences.
Ultimately and hopefully the sacrifice of all these lives may result in "mother-nature/forests" being better preserved for all that need to breathe oxygen (most of us,huh?)...don't get me wrong...I am no tree-hugger (actually ex-Navy) but it seems the planet will/may not be very good for our children's children....and that cannot be a good thing, no?

AG, please get it right this time, por favor.

David N, all you do is use this forum to gripe and complain. Not once have I ever read a comment from you that wasn't scathing? Why do you even bother? Just take your antidepressants and go away.
