Peru's Inti Raymi attracts thousands of tourists and local people

Thousands of tourists and local people attended the staging of the Inti Raimy or Festival of the Sun, whose first ceremony took place at the Santo Domingo Qoricancha Covent with the greeting to the Father Sun or Inti Tayta.

The Inti Raymi is considered as the most solemn and grandiose festivity of the Inca era.

The Inca, along with principal members of his court and the Huillac Uma (Main Priest), performed a ritual of greeting to the Inti Tayta (Father Sun) at the Qoricancha esplanade, where the rests of the famous Inca temple dedicated to the Sun are located.

Afterwards, the Inca, escorted by all his entourage, moved to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, where this festivity was originally performed and where the Cusco's Cathedral is located, this last one built on the temple dedicated to the god Wiracocha or universal god for the Andean culture.

That’s where the dubbed “Encuentro de los tiempos”( Encounter of the times) took place, act where the Inca talked with the major of the city and offered a speech to the people of Cusco and its authorities.

In these moments, the Inca accompanied by his Coya (queen), his royal entourage and his imperial army goes to the Archeological Park of Sacsayhuaman for the central ceremony of Inti Raymi.

The Inti Raymi ("Festival of the Sun") is a religious ceremony of the Inca Empire in honor of the god Inti (Sun). It also marked the winter solstice and a new year in the Andes of the Southern Hemisphere.

Cant you see it. David tells this things but he does not mean it-  he is 100percent framing- wants to get our focus away from the things going on here- from telling our points, or that others run away from the page and lose intrest, all this interesting people here  who write so truefull.  
May be his name is not even David- as more as I am thinking about I am sure he has another name. May be he is a very solid chrismass klauss who gets some side moeny to make fall people here into wrong expressions - that they have at the end a trial and he gets out free. 
(Same like the infiltrated persons which they always speak about on tv in pacific demonstations who gritter fire and than run away when the house is starting to burn and others suffer)

actually, schmidt, I agree that David N probably does not mean most of what he says, but your suggested reasons are probably not correct.

There is a newly diagnosed mental illness "troll syndrome".  It has a lot to do with the desire for attention coupled with the inability to differentiate positive and negitive attention and is usually combined with a second more severe social or mental disorder.

High Mary- T was reading the Troll thing- very interesting- in deed. But I think it is not like this with David- I am sure he is a frame. Not a Troll - I can feel it- remember this Philipp  few month ago insulting everyone??. It was also kind of unreal.  You are bright Mary -and always I felt in between our differences your social sensibility- they were insulting you several times – remember???No- we are dealing here with professionals.  Someone wants here that foreigners who really speak up don’t speak up. Is like of trying to make you fall into insults- and so un- we have our experience in that- my husband was running more tan 400 kilometers for better justice administration in the last 4 years  in different marathons and you can’t even imagine al the little incidents- photographer on the street who make patria roja signs with their hands  (send by whom?) to animate him to make the same and try to get a photo shot – like making us see as something what we are not, we got threats on many levels (for example in a bus  a man steping into the bus in huaraz and telling me that I will have here a hard time until I have to leave, persons like that appear to me and my husband several times- I can write a book about that and don’t want to go deeper here. You would not believe anyhow.     I feel when ever someone in writing something sensitive about what is really going on here- touching corruption topic- than this does not fit, Media watch dog is  referring to this specifically. They told very clear- no freedom of expression. As you know me and my husband are in our ways active for more transparency after we had sever experience with corruption and wrong justice administration. Our story- you would hardly believe- they try to make our mouths shut on many levels- I try to reach out on many levels too- the most interesting is- my comments on some  local newspapers I can’t even post- they don’t let you subscribe- I spoke to several other persons and our experience is similar to other people opinions who want to write something but they al blocked out. There never came real solution out about things we denounce ( traffic illicito de combustible, a minister call me for that issue twice in my home e  ) and other stuff. So I decided it is better to stay in this page because somehow in between the page is readed by the right people- people who want a better, more transparent Peru with less corruption- I don’t mind that the page is prob. Linked to the government and some articles give the impression that everything is pink here- means while in other news you listen about different realities.  It is important that we keep on writing. We should not allow anyone to stop us. Reverse strategy devise are very common to make people confuse. This is not Troll – it is serious.

Know what, I've got it!  Maybe its a combination -- 'framer' with that troll disease or whatever...ever think of that??  LOL  A framing troll.  Hmmmm. 

Anyways, thanks for the laugh.  Hysterical postings.  You take yourselves so seriously, too.  It's just great. 

Oh, and thanks for the novel c.schmidt, couldnt' finish it though.  Gotta get 'framing' and collect the big bucks!!  LMFAO
