Pluspetrol, leader of Camisea Consortium, reported that the investment in Camisea natural gas project does not stop and will amount to US$ 3.016 billion in 2013.

“Investments for Camisea project have always been dynamic, and we believe they will reach over US$ 3.016 billion from 2001 to 2013,” said Roberto Ramallo, Pluspetrol Executive Manager.

This will allow an increase in the processing capacity of 30%.

He said that the consortium invested US$ 870 million (between 2001 and 2004) in the development of San Martin field, located in Block 88, in order to reach a production capacity of 440 million cubic feet per day.

The consortium plans to start working in Cashiriari soon.
