Peru: Lima has 54 health facilities prepared to treat AH1N1 cases

Peru's Ministry of Health (Minsa) has designated at present 54 health facilities to take care of the patients with AH1N1 and common influenza symptoms, reported Edward Cruz, People's Health Director of Minsa.
Cruz added that in the next few this this number will reach 100, and that the Ministry is currently selecting the next facilities to be chosen.
Some of the designated hospitals are the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño (Ex Hospital del Niño), the hospitals Arzobispo Loayza, Casimiro Ulloa, Vitarte, Dos de Mayo, Hipólito Unanue, Zapallal and Sergio Bernales, among others.
Also the health centers of Calcuta, Santa Clara, Micaela Bastidas, Progreso, Miguel Grau, San Pedro de Chorrillos, Chorrillos II, Buenos Aires de Villa, Chosica, Jicamarca, La Molina, Santa Luzmila, Collique II zona, San Fernando, Tahuantinsuyo Bajo, Mirones Alto, Carlos Cueto, Portada de Manchay, Zapallal, Rímac, Villa Victoria, San Isidro and Piedra Liza.
