Peru beats Tunisia in U-18 Volleyball Youth World Championship

Peru cruised to its second victory in a row at the 2009 Girls Youth World Championships, with another 3-0 (25-21, 25-7, 25-) against Tunisia.

Having totally demolished defending champion China in the opening match of the tournament, the South Americans started a little bit too relaxed.

However, after regaining consistency and self-confidence, Peru put up a real show in the second set, marching quickly through the first and second technical breaks (16-4!), with all spikers well on fire.

Although Tunisia struggled for its best in the third set, Peru regained full control of the operations, and a poor reception of the Tunisians put an end to the match in about 60 minutes.
