The Andean city of Cusco got the third spot among cities from Central and South America in the contest “World’s best” organized by Travel+Leisure magazine, reported today Peru's Tourism and Export Promotion Board (PromPeru). # Michelle says :

What do you mean third? There is no comparison between B.A. and Cusco. Cusco is hands down a one of a kind tourist destination. Buenos Aires is simply pretty city which replicates some European cities. B.A. reminded me of Dubrovnik.
While in Buenos Aires, I remember buying souveneers that were made in Bolivia.

yes, cusco is a bit like Kathmandu, both quite uniquely different and like stepping into a parallel universe. BA has it's faded "european" charms but if you want but if you really want that go to Paris or Rome. So why cusco did not get first is a mystery. Besides, the portenos are not friendly like the cusquenos.
