American used to fly to Dallas and now it only uses Miamia as a hub to Latin America. The service has a lot to desire. We were served seco (beef stew made with cilantro at 2 am). That is ridiculous! Before landing in Miami we only had a juice. The seats in coach are awful.
The best seats were in my flight on American Eagle from Dallas to Tyler. Why don't you equip all your flights with those wonderful seats?
If all the flights to North American use the Miami hub, we have to take two or three connections to get to our destinations. American needs to fly direct from more airports in the USA to Latin America.
Washington DC is such an important destination and you have three airports to use as a hub.
I really would like to get an answer why do they serve cilantro beef at 2 am? Passengers need something light at that time of the night.
AA needs more competition.

This is a good new for Peruvian people that fly to the USA, but having Miami as a sole hub for the Latin American routes is not enough. To my mind AA can open new routes such as Dallas-Bogota, Dallas-Lima or New York JFK-Lima, because of the increasing demand on flights betwen Peru and the USA. Lima should be connected with Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami and New York-JFK for a better connection within the USA and the World. While competing with Continental HUB in Houston can be a headache for AA, they can make better connections with routes that are only flown from Dallas HUB. I actually don't know why AA ceased DFW-LIM route. I flew that route on July 2004, and I remember the flight was fully booked. I hope AA will open flights to Dallas in a brief time.

Add your commentAmerican will be using small planes, what a nuisance! They are retiring their older planes and Lima will be affected. Miami is the worst hub because one has to walk miles and miles. That airport should have golf karts to transport passengers from one gate to another. The use of wheel chairs would be minimalized.
AA stop serving a cilantro stew at midnight. It is bad for our digestive system at that time of the night.
