LivingInPeru.com is happy to inform that our collaborator, Peruvian tour operator Condor Travel has donated a bus with 23 seats to the orphanage Casa Hogar Juan Pablo II. This orphanage houses 64 abandoned children, ages 4 to 17 who live in Lima. Carolina Morillas gave the bus to the orphanage, stating that “Condor Travel is very committed [to] to the community, and we are pleased to help Casa Hogar Juan Pablo II. We have supported the orphanage over the past 10 years and are very proud of its work with the children and the community.” The bus will be used during fieldtrips and also in the transportation of volunteers, many of whom come from abroad.
