Pro-lifers will be dancing in the streets to oppose abortion in Peru. Do you think such movements should be encouraged?

Peru is one of the biggest pro-life populations according to an IPSOS survey. Peruvian attitudes against abortion are very strong and there are many social movements that campaign in regards to this matter.

On March 25 at 3pm, Marcha por la Vida will take to the streets of downtown Lima and it could become one of the world's largest pro-life marches of this year. It drew 500,000 in 2015 and 750,000 last year. The biggest U.S. pro-life march, in 2013, attracted 650,000.

Pro-lifers expect to attract more publicity by featuring flash mob performances. They have even created a promotional video.

In 2013, Peruvian women's rights groups had collected 64,200 signatures in favour of a bill that would allow abortions for pregnant rape victims. The Peruvian Government rejected the law proposal and so did the March for Life campaigners.

What do you think? Do you agree with this pro-life movement?
