Peru's Claudio Pizarro and Juan Vargas among the most popular soccer players

Peru's Claudio Pizarro, the best scorer at Werder Bremen, is one of the best paid players of the whole Bundesliga and is also about to break the record of 133 goals scored, set by Brazilian Elber, the best scorer until now.
Meanwhile, Juan Vargas is reportedly drawing the interest of important European clubs such as Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
They both have been included in the annual world's most popular soccer players list prepared by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The IFFHS has drawn up the following list of 115 currently active players from 68 countries in all six football continents, and people can vote online.
The results will be announced in January 2010.
