Peru: Latin American cities' Mayors to meet in Lima

Lima will host the II International Congress of Tourism and Integration, from Feb. 24 to 27, organized by the Association of Touristic Municipalities of Chile and the University San Martín de Porres.
This will be the second consecutive year that Mayors and Councilors from Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Argentina will meet, aiming to share experiences in tourism promotion, and to work in strengthening the ties between them.
The event seeks to create awareness among officials about the need of creating sustainable tourism, that respects the environment, reports TNews.
