Giuliana Chavez will be Peru's lone representative at the 'Latin American Idol' finals, a program produced in Argentina and broadcasted every Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (Lima time) by the Sony Channel (channel 15 in Lima).
Giuliana has been chosen as one of 30 finalists. Originally more than 15.000 applied for initial test performances in all of Latin America.
Giuliana already has a little experience in performing in front of a live audience and also on TV. In 2004 she participated in the fourth edition of "Camino a la fama" where she finished second; and together with the group "Flashback" she regularly appears at "Satchmo" in Miraflores. She also sings the jingle for "Top Latino", an FM Radio show transmitted in 14 countries.
All finalists can be supported by the public via text messages from any part in Latin America. Simply send your SMS to number 35355 with the word GIULIANA or you can call 1977131 in Peru (select option 5!) tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 6:00 p.m. until Thursday, Aug. 3 at 6:00 p.m.
