Elections 2006 | 22 August, 2006 [ 19:55 ]
Kenji Fujimori has registered as a candidate for job of Governor for Lima's provinces. He will run for the "Si Cumple” group which is closely attached to the Fujimorista party of his father and ex-President Alberto Fujimori, now called "Alliance for the Future".
The "Fujimorista” party informed in an official note that Kenji and his team of political advisers want to install a modern and efficient regional government serving all citizens in the region.
“I know the region well and - while following the ideals of the “fujimorismo” -, I am going to work for the great change people are hoping for. We will be the suprise in these regional elections”, Kenji said.

after all the political crap has settled and its now clear ,that alberto Fujimori was sandbagged in the last election as well as the one before. a ray of hope in Kenji Fujimori ,as a governor and his sister in congress, mabybe Peru can finally continue to move foreward,the past 5 years were sterile and the new government yet to be prove itself, If you look back through the past 50 years,Peru has suffered greatly under the "leadership" ? of its past presidents,only when Fujimori was elected did Peru become a real country and provide a better quality of life for its people.Add your comment
I sincerly hope that Alan Garcia will blossom and become the real president he can be,he is an intelligent person,with experence to draw on, if he is as intelligent as I think he is,then he will embrace all the Fujimoris and truly make his term in office a memoriable one.
