(LivinginPeru News) -- Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism announced that it will attempt to implement projects that are designed to impulse and increase tourism in three Peruvian micro-regions; Northern Coast-Amazonian, Central and Southern.
The Peruvian Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Mercedes Araoz, announced that three important investment forums will be held in key cities in each of the designated areas.
According to Araoz, the forums are designed to attract key investors to participate in the Ministry's tourism promotion program 'Tourismo para todos' (Tourism for everyone).
The investments will be prescribed according to the current conditions of region's resources, such as the number of touristic resources (archaeological, natural, or artisenal), accommodations (hotels, restaurants, and entertainment centers), as well as the condition of its infrastructure (roads, airports, ports, running water, sewage drainage systems, and telecommunications).
The first forum will be held on March 30 and 31 in the city of Chiclayo, where investment projects from the Nothern Coast-Amazonian micro-region will be highlighted.
The second and third forums will be held in August and November, respectively.
