As a part of plan to make South America its hub, Kimberly Clark inaugurated one of two plants in Lima today. President Garcia congratulated the 1,300 workers that will now be working for the makers of Huggies diapers and Scott towels. The president noted that this was only one of the 43 companies that would be investing in Peru this year. He added that Kimberly Clark had made a $60 million investment in Peru, stating that the company met the highest international standards.
