(LIP-do) -- Sergeant of Peru's National Police, Javier Uribe Altamiran, has stated that the PNP will hand out passes to the owners of vehicles which have previously registered to be able to enter security zones established because of the V European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean Summit (EU-LAC).
The passes will only be handed out to the residents living around the Museo de la Nación and the National Library, both located in the district of San Borja, who had until May 5th to register.
In a telephone conversation with RPP, the sergeant indicated that the PNP had been personally handing out the credentials to each resident, but also said that not all were handed out because some residents weren't found at home.
Thus, Uribe asked those who have not received their passes to come pick them up at the commanding post set up at the intersection of Av. Javier Prado and Calle Arqueología so that they could receive their document. They can do so until 10 p.m. tonight.
