now, isn't that great?
maybe the peruvian goverment should spend more time, money and resources supporting sports that bring real glory to the country, unlike those selfish soccer players whose only goal in life is to leave the country, make some bucks and forget about the fans that supported them through out their career.
Chess, without a doubt, has been one of the few glories Peru's ever had. Congratulations to the Grand Master Granda, hopefully someone is paying attention.

Congratulations to Julio Granda, to the Peruvian team that won the Panamerican Chess Games and to the brothers Jorge and Deisy Cori who won the World School Chess Championship held in Singapore in the U-13 and U-15 category, respectively.Add your comment
They all need the rewards and a continued support from the Peruvian Government.
