As the APEC 2008 Forum approaches, which will take place in Peru in November, the metropolitan council will present on Thursday the "Gastronomic Tour of the Historical Centre of Lima", so that visitors to this important meeting can taste the best of Peru's gastronomy in first-class restaurants.
The event will count on the exhibition "Market Trends of Gastronomic Services", headed by Gastón Acurio, the president of the Peruvian Gastronomy Association, reported Lima’s Municipality.
For this program, over 220 restaurants, whose owners have improved their facilities, service quality and food handling, have been selected.
The program has the support of a network of institutions linked to the industry such as Gastrotur Perú, the Peruvian Gastronomy Association, San Martin University, the Toulouse Lautrec Institute of Communication and design among other institutions.
