Living in Peru : your everyday companion

The Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PromPerú) and five Peruvian fishery companies will participate in the fish and seafood products show, CONXEMAR 2008, which is to be held from October 7 - 9 at Europe’s largest fishing port in Vigo, Spain.

This fair is organized by the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Manufacturers and Exporters of Fish products and Fish Farming.

CONXEMAR is fully supported by the association as a tool to unite and promote the national seafood processing industry with special emphasis on the frozen products sector.

The most important national and foreign producers of these products will be present at the fair as well as those from other related sectors (wholesalers, importers, exporters, processors, manufacturers, distributors, cold stores, machinery and auxiliary industries such as refrigeration, packing, plastics and aquaculture).

PromPerú noted that their participation in the event aims at diversifying markets for local products and boosting the sale of participating companies in foreign markets.
