Freddy Nossar, the owner of a football club in Peru, promised the national football team's head coach, 'Chemo' del Solar, his best horse if the selection beat Venezuela and Argentina in upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

After visiting Del Solar and promising him his best horse, Nossar suggested that 'Chemo' call on international players Jefferson Farfán, Claudio Pizarro and Santiago Acasiete, three of the players involved in a hotel party scandal.

"He knows I bring him luck and God knows that the same horse luck is passed to him," said the owner of Kentucky-bred horses.

"I told him that if he wins the six points he can choose the best horse I have and I'll give it to him."

Nassur affirmed that Peruvian fans wanted to see victories and it was not a good move to leave international players out of qualifying matches.

"We have to use all our weapons," he affirmed.

Tickets for Peru's FIFA World Cup qualifying matches are to be sold beginning August 30.

Prices range from 20 - 200 soles. Both matches are to be played in Lima.

The Andean country is to go up against Venezuela on September 6 and Argentina on September 10.

What's Chemo going to do with a horse?  What ever works, I guess.  To even have a chance of winning  he will definitely need to call on the infamous trio of Farfan, Pizarro, and Acasiete.  I don't think he would do that.  If coaching doesn't work out for him he could try being a jockey.

I guess Freddy Nossar, owner of the best football team in Peru (SPORTING CRISTAL), is pretty sure that Peru won't win any of the matches, but who knows... maybe we got some luck this time.. Asi es el futbol!!!!

And if he loses? Will he get a horse's head under his bed sheets the next morning? :0
