This is completely illogical.
Fujimori was clearly against terrorism, and his government protected victims from terrorism. It is not logical to think that Fujimoristas would actually destroy monuments built in memory of terrorism victims.

If these people are destroying, vandalizing "in the name of Fujimori", then I suspect that they are NOT real fujimoristas. They must be political agents in disguise, hired to ruin the reputation of Fujimoristas.

The use of violence against property, particularly property dedicated to the memory of terrorism victims, is a clear sign of an organization's basic modus operandi. In this case a party dedicated to bringing back an at the least very dissapointing man to executive power. An organization that is willing to initiate and use violence. And if violence is used against monuments to suffering and death under terrorism, how quickly might such persons resort to violence and terrorism against thier political opponents should they gain an upper hand. Quickly I would say.
And again, as has been the norm for a century, we see the money coming to support this violence from my country.
I'm very sad that my country has played such a horrible role in so much of Latin America for so long. Look at what the government of my country has done in Haiti, in Honduras, Guatimala, El Salvidor, Panima, Columbia, on and on. Look at what the powers in my country continue to do. And most of my countrymen and women are ignorant and in denial about this. Are you guys sure you want a Super Pan American Highway connecting you with us?

Anton, you live in a bubble. When the terrorists start blowing up cars weekly in your neighborhood, cutting power daily, killing innocent people - possbily your friends and family, then you will beg for someone like Fujimori to take a firm hand and stomp them into oblivion.

The monument was also dedicated to those masacred by the Fujimori regime in the name of anti-terrorism who were not terrorists. That is why it was destroyed. Operations of this Fujimori thug organization are well documented now, going back almost 2 decades.

Get Real,
Fujimori was a terrorist and I am still shocked and saddened that people like you are pro-terrorist by supporting him.
YOu only want to interchange one form of terrormism for another.
I will agree with you 100% that he did a damn fine job in clobbering Shining Path, who deserved to be clobbered.
That does not, in any way shape or form, excuse him from mudering innocent college students simply for criticism.
If you think that sort of trade off is fine, then I am sure there are a bunch of mothers out there that would be glad to let you sacrifice your son or daughter to Fujimore if it would bring back their children.
Chaning one form of terrorism for another is still supporting terrorism.
Peru is better than that.

What about Kate Doyle, US jurist on International stuff for Human Rights...etc., etc...against Fujimori. What did she say about Fujimori and what she knows about Fujimori's guilt? And what about the Argentinian jurist?
Anyone here works for Caviar?
