Peru does not believe national football team will qualify for World Cup

A recent survey released by the University of Lima reported that 81.8 percent of Peruvians did not believe the Andean team would qualify to take part in the 2010 World Cup.
Polls showed that 11.1 percent of those surveyed still had hope and stated the Peruvian football selection would qualify for the 2010 world cup while 6.8 percent said they did not know.
It was reported that the little hope the country had in the national football team was due to Peru's 3-0 loss to Bolivia.
More citizens had hope the national team would make it after their match against Venezuela.
In September, a study done by the same university showed that 72.6 percent of fans believed the national selection would not make it to the World Cup.
