I'm surprised there is no mention about the strikes happening in Arequipa.  Today most of the city is shut down due to a strike in support of the Amazon natives.  Combis are not running.  Most taxis are not in operation.  The Catholica University cancelled all classes.  The local colegios are all closed.  The streets are pretty much empty.

I'm not sure if it is related to the strikes, but there is a large cloud of black smoke coming out of the Umacollo area (as close as I can see).

It's as good of a reason as any to continue perpetuating chaos and general disorder.  BTW, for all the political meddling that the Catholic church does, they should be taxed.

Just adds to the charm of this banana republic. Garcia is an imbecile and the PNP a bunch of thugs, but the country needs industry.

These idiots from the Amazon live in filth and disease, so what do they care? They dump garbage and human waste in the forest and water as it is. Disgusting savages.
