Temperatures to drop in Peru southern highlands

From today, the temperatures will drop even more in Peru southern highlands, reports the National Meteorology Service (Senamhi).

The more affected regions will be Puno, Huancavelica, Ayacucho and Cusco, whose minimun temperatures are likely to drop to -9 degrees Celsius.

"The area has remained at -3 ° C and -4 ° C, these days, but due to a sudden drop in humidity levels, the averages will drop,” explained Teresa Garcia, a Senamhi expert, adding that in the case of Cuzco “temperatures will remain positive turning around the zero and 0.5 degrees."

Since rain and snow are expected in the highlands, Senamhi encourages the drivers to check on the conditions of their vehicles, especially on the tires, and to be aware of the weather alerts issued by local radio stations.

yeah, that makes sense - tires are more important than the babies and children who are dying from the cold.  Any plans being made by the Garcia's to do something about this?  Didn't think so.....

Since when is it Garcia's responsibility to clothe everyone in the country?  It's not like the people living in southern Peru don't know the weather turns cold in winter.

Sadly  Wealth in Peru is  not evenly distributed under alan garcias  CORRUPT goverment .
When Ollanta Humala  becomes President of Peru in 2011 , At least the Poor will  not be exploited under Humala, Better housing, education, medical, etc for the poor People .   Following Hugo Chavez great example with Mission Milagros which has helped a lot towards eradicating poverty in Venezuela , Bolivia, Cuba, Peru and South America. About time the balance of power has shifted. As the Poor People in Peru and South America get better educated  , South America will then be a lot less reliable on foreigners,  And will be able to protect South Americas own interests independently in so doing Peru and South America becomes a lot more self dependent.  No more Imperialism.
Peru and Venezuela should join forces.
us FTA,  And chile FTA bad for Perus Poor People.
Peru needs to get rid of  Imperialism.
