Peru's Presidential Airplane had an emergency landing

Peru's Presidential airplane, which was carrying President Alan García to Quito, had a problem that forced it to have an emergency landing in Chiclayo.
The plane, which was heading to Quito, Ecuador (where Garcia was to attend the inauguration of Rafael Correa for a second term as Ecuadorian president) when the plane reported a problem with the windshield, and had an emergency land in Chiclayo's Group N°6 Air Force airport (in Lambayeque region).
However, another versions mention an alleged mechanical problem, but this has not been officially confirmed yet.
Reportedly, Garcia and former Prime Minister Yehude Simon are to take another plane in order to continue their trip
