Before a massive audience made up of thousands of young Peruvian fans, and Ecuadorians and Bolivians, the American band “The Killers” performed last night at the Monumental Stadium in Ate (Lima).
The Killers, the Las Vegas band which will perform tonight in Lima, chose “Autobús” as their Peruvian supporting band.
Spanish singer Raphael captivated thousand of Limeans last night, singing his all-time hits and some of the most emblematic themes of the Latin American songbook, opening the Latin American section of his tour "50 Years Later."
The duo performed by the popular Peruvian singers, pop singer Pedro Suarez Vertiz and opera star Juan Diego Flórez, a song called “Nadia,” has been very well received, so much so that in many countries the song is positioned amongst the ranking of the Most Listened to 50 Songs in the US, according to a report from the Nielsen Soundscan monitoring system, which is published by Billboard magazine.
Despite previous information indicating that The Killers would arrive tonight, the band in fact arrived in Lima at 4pm this afternoon.
According to local press, the tickets for the I and M zones (the most expensive ones) for upcoming Metallica's concert in Lima sold out on the first day of sales.
