Streets that Will Be Closed by the Visit of the Supreme Pontiff

Pope Francis arrived in Peru yesterday afternoon and will be staying until next Sunday 21st as part of his Latin American visit. Due to this event, vehicular transit will be restricted in different streets and avenues in several districts in Lima.

The Urban Transportation Management (Gerencia de Transporte Urbano) in Lima, has urged the citizens to take the necessary precautions because of this measure.
Surco, Jesús María, and Cercado de Lima are some of the districts that will close their streets to allow a better flow of the Pope and his retinue while he moves around the city in the Popemobile. These are the streets that will be closed to traffic:

Pope Francis was received in the airport by Presidente Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday afternoon and will be accompanying him during his visit to the country.
“We receive Pope Francis with joy and devotion, a friend of Peru and a peace and hope messenger. Thank you for coming to this millennial land of great cultures and a thousand valleys”, tweeted the President.
