The boat returned to Peru after completing her second navigation traveling 18 thousand miles. The journey won the crew worldwide recognition, as they became the winners of the Rendez-Vouz International Sailboat Regatta, held last June in Canada.
The list of countries the vessel visited during its journey:
Balboa and Colón (Panama), Jacksonville, Norfolk, Boston (United States), Charlottetown (Canada), London (England), Hamburg (Germany), Rotterdam (Holland), Le Havre (France), La Coruña, Cádiz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), and Guayaquil (Ecuador); in all of these places, the naval cadets and the crew had the opportunity to spread the Peruvian culture with information and itinerant samples provided by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism.
In each port, these naval cadets also had the opportunity to strengthen ties of friendship and integration with the navies and the general population of the places they visited.
