It offers the possibility to its guests to play at the club without a membership and for the price of $130 US dollars.

One of the unique aspects of the Country Club Lima Hotel is its style and character: the hotel lays in an English mansion built in the 1920s and is decorated with more than 300 pieces of Inca and Spanish arts, borrowed from the Pedro de Osma Museum. Moreover, it offers 83 elegant rooms and suites, a gym, a pool, a golf course, and an excellent restaurant, Perroquet, that has won five times the best restaurant award in Peru.

The prices vary from $277 US dollars to $343 US dollars for the rooms, depending on their size and what accommodations they offer. The price of the suites begins at $441 US dollars per night, for a 65m² suite with a king size bed, marble bathroom and jacuzzi. They go up to $1,041 US dollars, which equals the Ambassador Suite.

Also, the hotel’s restaurant is famous for offering a good and wide range of food mixing the Peruvian and Asian cooking style.

All stays include free wifi, daily newspaper and bottled water as well as tea on arrival. The price is at $340 US dollars per night for the city view Junior Suite, that offers stunning views of the Miraflores district, a king-size bed, marble bathroom with bathtub and a separate shower, everything in 45m².

The garden Junior Suite gives a view of the tranquil garden, with a terrace, for the price of $390 US dollars. For the same price, you can enjoy the ocean view Junior Suite, with its breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.

But, if you really wish to treat yourself, the Presidential Pool Suite located on the top floor and for the price of $2,125 US dollars, is a 120m² suite with private pool on a private terrace that offers one of the best views in Lima.

In a restored palace and convent from the 17th century, this luxurious hotel located one block away from Plaza de Armas in Cusco is composed of walls made of stones carved by the Incas, which mixed with colonial features gives a very interesting and unique character.

Belmond Palacio Nazarenas is the only hotel in Cusco to have an outdoor heated pool and an outstanding service: all rooms have 24-hour room service, and the suites also have their own bar where the employees can teach you personally how to prepare the best pisco sour.

All of the 55 rooms and suites are very luxurious, and some of them even have original Inca walls, such as the Inca Studio Suite, that enables you to enjoy the real Andean experience for $531 US dollars per night. The Junior Suite, $495 US dollars, is located in the historic part of the hotel and offers a courtyard view, while you can see the hotel’s inner gardens and pool area from the Deluxe Studio Suite, for the price of $531 US dollars.

If you wish to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Cusco, the City View Studio Suite has a great balcony that overlooks the San Blas district of Cusco, for $607 US dollars per night. The Deluxe City View Studio Suite also features an excellent view of the San Blas district. This suite has the best location of the hotel and a very big walk-in closet, for $692 US dollars per night.

But if you wish to stay in a special colonial-style room, the Colonial Arch Suite, named for the colonial arch decoration it has, enables you to enjoy the main courtyard and its XVI-century fountain from the window for $1,955 US dollars per night.

  1. Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel – Aguas Calientes

At a 30-minute bus ride from the entrance of Machu Picchu, and close to the lively town of Aguas Calientes, the Inkaterra Machu Picchu is a very good option, especially for families, as there are villas available for big groups. Also, the hotel is located in its own 12-acre-dense forest reserve, and the exotic plants attract all kinds of animals and birds, which charm especially the children.

The hotel features a rustic-chic atmosphere with its colonial-style buildings, rough cobbled footpaths and elegant interior décor. Most of the rooms also include a programmed guided excursion within the property to enjoy nature, the birds, the orchids and all of the other things the property proposes.  The accommodations are very comfortable, with a thick alpaca blanket, a spa-like bathroom and environmentally-friendly toiletries.

The Superior room, for two or three adults and two children, includes one buffet breakfast and one a-la-carte dinner per night. It also has a nice décor with local crafts and eucalyptus beams and costs $548 US dollars a night. The Superior Deluxe, for $602 US dollars, and the Junior Suite, for $654 US dollars, both have a fireplace, and the Junior Suite even has a terrace surrounded by big Amazonian vegetation. The best suite, Suite Inkaterra, has 176m² of space, and features a personal garden and covered terrace, plus a heated plunge pool and outdoor shower, as well as a personal mini-bar, for the price of $1,170 US dollars.

Right on the edge of the Machu Picchu Pueblo, this hotel, one of the quietest retreats in town, enjoys maybe the best views of the steamy valley. The furniture is robust and gives a sense of authenticity. The imitation Inca ceramics are abundant and of high quality.

The Standard Twin Patio Room is at $700 US dollars per night, has a size of 15m² and benefits from an additional space in which you can relax after an exciting day at the Machu Picchu. If you want a panoramic breathtaking view of the mountains and the rainforest, opt for the Deluxe Room, at the price of $900 US dollars. For $1,140 US dollars, the Deluxe Terrace Room proposes an additional place and a furnished private terrace.

Skylodge Hotel is not only about sleeping hanging from a mountain, but it’s also about how to get there. In order to sleep in the hotel, people must climb 400 meters of Via Ferrata or hike an adventurous trail through zip lines. The price per person for a package including the Via Ferrata, the zip-line and a night at the hotel is $444 US dollars. For $417 US dollars, you have one night and either the Via Ferrata or the zip-line.

All the packages include transportation from Cusco, the necessary material, bilingual guides and breakfast as well as gourmet dinner with wine. Everything is planned in advance as you climb up with all of the necessary food. The dinner is composed of four courses: soup, salad, main course and dessert, and served in the dining pod (consider you have to climb back in the dark to your pod after dinner!).

The breakfast consists of eggs, toast, granola and fresh fruits, all served with coffee and tea. There are three sleeping pods, and each one can accommodate up to four persons as they have one double bed and two simple beds. If you want to enjoy the sky and the view, blinds can be pulled back both during the day and the night.

The Tambo del Inka Hotel is very nice for families as it has a game room with different games and a pool table. Also, the big variety of rooms, both for couples or groups, is very good if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with your family.

All the rooms of the hotel have a balcony with garden or mountain view, marble bathrooms both with a shower and a bath, Wifi, television and mini-bars. The Deluxe King suite, for example, has all those features and a king-sized bed, for the price of $271 US dollars. The Deluxe Terrace, for the price of $295 US dollars, comes with a terrace that offers breathtaking views of the mountains. The suites have a separate living room, a large television set and butler service. The Junior Suite starts at the price of $367 US dollars and the Senior Suite at the price of $455 US dollars per night.

If you are planning on taking a relaxing luxurious vacation at the beach, not too far away from Lima and other larger cities like Nazca and Ica, Paracas has the perfect hotel for you: a luxurious beachfront resort in the middle of the city. The hotel is set in Paracas Bay, at a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars, but far enough to be tranquil at nights away from the big crowds. The design is simple but elegant, and it’s all about being outdoors, relaxing in the pool and enjoying the view of the ocean. There are 120 rooms in the property, either facing the sea or the garden.

The simple Garden View Deluxe Rooms comes with a king size bed or two queen-sized beds, with a view over the garden for the price of $224 US dollars. The Ocean Front Rooms are at the price of $278 US dollars, includes breakfast for 2every dayy, and offers a terrace with view over the ocean. The hotel also proposes suites, such as the Suite Terrace, with a partial ocean view for $314 US dollars and Suite Terrace Front, with a terrace in front of the ocean, for $341 US dollars.

  1. Arennas Máncora – Máncora

If you are looking for a peaceful luxurious hotel on the northern coast of Peru, Arennas Máncora should be perfect. The hotel offers a private beach, stylish rooms with outdoor terraces, and an excellent restaurant, that proposes a large list of Peruvian and international dishes. The hotel’s location is perfect if you are looking to get away from your routine for a few days. It is located on Las Pocitas beach, and you can access the city of Máncora in 15 min with a moto-taxi.

Most of the hoel’s common areas are outdoor, with a view of the ocean and surrounded by palm trees. As one part of the property is overlooked by hills, the hotels décor is designed to blend in with the nature that surrounds it: taupe wooden floor, many palm trees, and furniture made out of wood.
