The Decentralized Minister Council held a session on Sunday to review the progress of the reconstruction of those areas affected by El Niño Costero almost a year ago, informed El Comercio.
“According to the El Comercio-Ipsos survey published in mid-January, 81% of those informed about this process considered that little or no progress has been made in recent months”, the news website explains.
The director of ARCC said that his entity has already transferred more than 2,000 million 200 soles in the last 9 months for the financing of 362 interventions in the affected areas. “The list is led by Piura – the most affected region – with 1,009 million Soles invested”, informs El Comercio.
Reconstruction with Changes has finished so far 11 reconstruction projects in the main avenues in Piura, Chiclayo, and Trujillo for more than 11 million Soles. As for sanitation, there are 4 projects that have already started in Nuevo Catacos (Piura), other regions of Chiclayo, and in Lima Provincias.
