A child-friendly film such as Bambi’ and the classic Lawrence of Arabia’ don’t have much in common other than simply telling a great story. Who says so? Andrew Stanton, the filmmaker behind such animated classics as Toy Story’ and Wall-E,’ says so. By design these films and every other great story in time has had the ability to draw an audience in and to actually care.
By the end of the 20-minute TED talk you’ll have journeyed through various time-periods, countries, habitats, as Stanton refers to various films that led to his love for story-telling.
