Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Peruvian fashion this holiday season, where three exceptional designers craft tales of heritage, nature, and empowerment through their exquisite creations.
Exquisite Imelda de Val Jewelry
Valery Lisboa, the artist behind the brand Imelda de Val, has created Raiz (roots) this season, a collection inspired by Peru. Founded in 2007, Imelda de Val is inspired by the people, experiences, and history, using a palate of fine metals and gemstones, expressing love for each piece. Accessories that claim, I love you! I Love Me!, or Marry Me!.
Our favorites from this collection are the earrings or ring with the “Gato de la Pampa,” a wild cat from northern Peru. Both are made of 18K fairmined gold with manually installed natural diamonds. The ring also holds 18 pieces of pink opal, which are also hand-placed.
Every piece of jewelry by Imelda de Val is handcrafted by artisans who create the pieces consistently. You can also order it in white or rose.

The Amazonic patterns of Ani Alvarez Calderón
Ani’s creations are a showstopper. Her vision has a clear message expressed through art. Her style uses the cultural heritage to transcend through her fashion statements as a modern renewed artistic concept.
Designs that cater to the empowered and joyful woman, a cultured, intellectual woman who values the story behind each garment and the process by which it was created.
Every design combines innovative, technological fabrics with traditional handmade embroidery. We were mesmerized by The Preservation of Kene Textiles, Kene art is a cultural expression carried by an ancestral and natural process. It is a practice that is passed down through generations, from mother to daughter from the Shipibo Conibo Community, designed with a combination of geometric line-work and symbolic figures, representing their worldview.
The Shipibo Conibo are located in the province of Ucayali, northern east of Peru; they lead a life in synergy with the Amazon Rainforest. Kene is the design system where lines, symbols, and geometry communicate stories of healing and connection to the spiritual world. The Shipibo Conibo are known to have extensive knowledge of medicinal plants – where nature is treated with respect and valued beyond its resources.

Susan Wagner connected with the land.
Connected with nature designer Susan Wagner presents Ceibó x SW, a collection made with the fiber of kapoks – fruits of the ceibo tree – collected, spun, and transformed by artisans from Bolívar, Cajamarca and hand-woven in Lima by women. The garments are dyed with natural dyes in Chinchero, Cusco, Andes, and Nomatsigenga, Pasco, in the Amazon of Peru.
Oversized dresses with round necks and short sleeves or no sleeves, this collection has asymmetry as the core, with thick woven fabric produced by families and groups of artisans and artists from different parts of Peru seeking to preserve their traditional textile techniques and cultural legacy.
