The Ministry of Education’s initiative “Schools of High-Performance” received the highest award for Business Creativity.
The Ministry of Education (Minedu) took home the great prize of Business Creativity for the work of the Schools of High-Performance which have allowed outstanding students with low resources in the country to access an educational service with high standards quality.
All this through their centers which have branches in the 25 regions of the country, the Minedu aims to strengthen intellectual skills of students as well as their personal development. The institution was also awarded in the Education category and won the Special Grand Company Award. The institution was one of the six public sectors to be recognized this year.
Companies that were awarded in more than 20 areas were from both the private and public sector.
In the categories of Innovative Communication and Culture, it was highlighted the participation of the Radio and Television Institution of Peru for their “Ñuqanchik” program which has had a positive impact on the Quechua-speaking communities of the country.
Likewise, in the categories of Interactive Media and Public Services, Grupo Express del Perú was recognized for their AlToke app which allowed the improvement of public transport service through an interconnected bus system at a unified rate.
Finally, Southern Peru, Pacific Insurance companies, Coca-Cola and Cencosud took home the trophy “Care for the Environment Award” for their backpacks that come with a built-in poncho designed for school-age children, between 6 and 9 years old, of Andean communities in the south of the country.
