The Peruvian Government wants Emirates Airlines to bring its five-year plan forward and include Lima in its routes to strengthen the connectivity area, said Peru’s Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Jose Luis Silva.
The Peruvian minister stressed his ministry is working hard to achieve that goal, adding that under the five-year plans of Emirate Airlines, the company sees Lima as an option of interest. "We want to do something to bring that plan forward as soon as possible."
During the Third Summit of Heads of State and Government of South American and Arab Countries (ASPA) and the Third ASPA CEO Summit, there will meetings to address issues related to the promotion of trade and tourism.
In this regard, the minister said that the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) is also working on the promotion of hotel projects and the ASPA Summit will be an opportunity to promote Arab investments in that sector.
Silva said he will meet (today) with the Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies of Morocco, Abdelkader Amara.
