José Alejandro Graña Miró Quesada, Hernando Alejandro Graña Acuna, Jose Fernando Castillo Dibos and Fernando Gonzalo Camet Piccone were taken to a maximum security prison on Monday.
The four businessmen, arrested for the Odebrecht case, were transferred yesterday to Ancon I prison. Early on Monday, all arrived at the jail voluntarily after hearing the decision of Judge Richard Concepción Carhuancho, who ordered 18 months of preventive detention.
Odebrecht has been the main protagonist of corruption cases that involve politicians. Those affected by the decision of the head of the First National Preparatory Investigation Court are: José Alejandro Graña Miró Quesada (former president of the board of Graña y Montero), Hernando Alejandro Graña Acuña (former director of Graña y Montero), Fernando Martín Gonzalo Camet Piccone (President of JJ Camet) and José Fernando Castillo Dibós (Managing Director of ICCGSA).
Gonzalo Ferraro Rey, ex-manager of Graña y Montero, is under house arrest was ordered, because he was admitted to the Anglo American Clinic, where he will undergo surgery in the next few days for a malignant tumor in his throat.
