The American band was going to play in Lima on November 15, the same day that Peru will play their last match in order to qualify for Russia 2018 by repechage.
Green Day will change the date of their concert in Lima. In order not to interrupt the repechage match that the Peruvian soccer team will play against New Zealand for a place in the World Cup 2018. Move Concerts, the company responsible for the show, announced that they reached an agreement with the band to make a reprogramming.
“Green Day once again puts the shoulder to support the Peruvian soccer team and give Peru the concert it deserves, so the date of the show has been rescheduled for November 14 at San Marcos Stadium,“ he announced in a statement made by the company.
In this way, Green Day will no longer play in Lima on November 15, as originally planned, but on Tuesday, November 14.

Green Day will begin on November 1 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the South American dates of the “Revolution Radio” tour. Prior to the rescheduling, Green Day was to have three days off between their presentation in Santiago de Chile (November 12) and their concert in Lima.
