Lima Fashion Week selects designers for Fall/Winter 2014


The next edition of Lima Fashion Week is fast approaching, and LIF Week’s organizers have just announced the list of designers whose work will appear on the runway in April.

The Peruvian designers who will show their work at LIF Week ‘14 are Claudia Jimenez, Jorge Luis Salinas, Sitka Semsch, Ani Alvarez Calderon, Noe Bernacelli, Fatima Arrieta, Roger Loayza, Jimena Mujica Boutique, Gerardo Privat, Yirko Sivirich, Ana G, Susan Wagner, Boho Chic by Talia Berckemeyer Murguia, Angie Schlegel, Emporium Jeans, Ilaria, Basement, Fina, and Kuna. Schlegel, Wagner, and Berckemeyer are all new to LIF Week.

Completing this impressive list of Peruvian fashion luminaries is American designer Kenneth Cole, who has been named as LIF Week ‘14’s invited foreign designer. Cole is a highly successful designer and businessman, known especially for his shoes and handbags.

LIF Week Fall/Winter ‘14 will take place from March 31 until April 4 at the Jockey Club in Lima.Some familiar faces will be back for Lima Fashion Week’s upcoming Fall/Winter edition, as well as some designers that will be new to the Lima runway.



Rachel Chase is a proud born-and-bred Minnesotan who’s moved to Lima after graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College with a double major in Spanish and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies. During her junior year of college, Rachel studied in Peru and loved it so much that she just had to come back. As well as being a dedicated News Editor, Rachel plays the ukulele and sings, as well as trying to devour as many books as she can.
