In honor of Fiestas Patrias in Peru, the Art Museum of Lima (MALI) will be hosting 10 days of free cultural activities.
With Peru’s celebration of its independence just around the corner, the Art Museum of Lima (MALI) announced that they will be holding free cultural events from July 21st through July 30 in honor of the holidays.
On these days, the museum will be open free to the public from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M, with the exception of Friday, July 28th when the museum will be open until 10 P.M.
Visitors will experience the largest ever exposition dedicated to the Nazca culture currently in operation at MALI.
It is only open for a limited time (until October 1st) so this would be an excellent opportunity to see it free of charge. The normal permanent exhibitions will also be open.
On Friday, July 28th, the museum will be open into the night hours for unique events including a musical presentation and storytelling followed by a band.
According to the press release from MALI, the event will also include an opportunity to ride an electric bicycle provided by ENEL Peru along with a designated road from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the same period of days.
If you’d like to see the full list of events please visit MALI’s website for the entire schedule.
