Since last Friday, Google is selling official products in Peru. The first two available in the local market are the Chromecast and Google Home Mini.
The first is a device for playing content from a mobile phone on a TV, the second is a speaker-shaped assistant that has the Google Assistant built-in.
“These products will be sold in different specialized stores and supermarkets, but they will have the appropriate official technical service and accessories”, said Matías Fuentes, head of Product Communication for Google Argentina and Peru.
Both the Chromecast and the Google Home Mini (in gray and charcoal colors) will be available in Falabella. The first will be priced at S / 199, while the second will cost S / 259.
Although this begins the official marketing of products made by Google in Peru, there are still no plans in the short term for the arrival and availability of other devices such as the popular Pixel smartphone line or the new Chromecast Ultra 4K player.
