The Peruvian actress will play the part of a Peruvian immigrant in Chile in a new Argentina-Chile-Peru production called “They All Come Back” (“Todos Vuelven”).
Magaly Solier is one of Peru’s biggest names in entertainment. She starred in the award-winning film “The Milk of Sorrow” released in 2009 and is also known for singing in Peru’s indigenous language Quechua. She was even awarded for Best Actress at the 2011 Zerkalo International Film Festival in Russia.
Variety informs that Magaly Solier will be a starring in a new film called “They All Come Back” (“Todos Vuelven”) directed by Chile’s Giancarlo Nasi and Maite Aberdi along with Argentine and Peruvian co-producers.
The film will deal with issues faced by immigrants to Chile through the experience of a Peruvian woman, to be played by Magaly Solier, who struggles with identity and survival in a new country. The Peruvian actress will also be composing and singing 6 songs for the film.
Beginning stages of film production are scheduled for December to January.
