La Macha Investments, property of Peruvian cook Gastón Acurio, plans to invest US $12 million dollars in opening new restaurants in Peru and abroad, as part of its international expansion.

After Chile, which is considered as “a market already conquered,” La Macha Investments plans to open new restaurants in New York, Bogotá (Colombia) and Guayaquil (Ecuador) by April and July 2010, respectively.

Once the company has opened a Cevicheria La Mar in New York, they will start working in opening another in London by 2011.

They are also considering opening restaurants in Barcelona and Dubai.
