Peru’s Lord of the Miracles to receive homage in Rome and Vatican City

The image of the "Lord of Miracles" will be taken in procession through the streets of Rome and Vatican City on October 11th and 18th, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the its Brotherhood in Rome, which was acknowledged by the Pope and has a special place in the diocese.

The image of the Lord of Miracles will depart from its church (located in the Republic Square) and will tour several streets of Rome.

Prior to this, the residents will pay homage to the image with Peruvian music.

The Lord of the Miracles will be taken to Vatican City on Sunday, October 18th, and will be present during the Angelus prayers that Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate at noon; afterwards, a mass will be celebrated at Saint Peter’s Church to honor him.
