Some 20 countries have confirmed their presence in the upcoming International Fishing and Aquaculture Fair called Expo Pesca & Acuiperu 2009, to be held from November 12 to 14 in Lima, according to the event’s organizer, Thais Corporation.
It will take place at Jockey Plaza Conventions Center, and some of the participating countries are Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Korea, Denmark, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Morocco, Uruguay, and Sweden.
Expo Pesca is the only international fair specialized in fishing and aquaculture that takes place every two years in Peru since 2003, and this year’s edition is expected to be visited by 14,000 people.
In addition, the fair expects to close deals over US $70 million dollars during the next 12 months.
