PlusPetrol will invest about $600 million over the next four years in Peru: the Argentine company will spend the money to explore natural gas projects in Peru.

The $600 million will be spent to drill about 11 explorations wells, said Daniel Guerra head of institutional relations at Pluspetrol.

Earlier, the Camisea consortium, which Pluspetrol controls, had said it has about 14.1 trillion cubic feet of proven gas reserves, which will last through 2047.
